Betty (Elizabeth Jean) Brooks Randels (1915-2009) was born and educated in Wichita, Kansas. She married Paul Wayne Randels in 1937. Paul's career took them to Illinois where their two sons, Peter and Stephen, were born. The Randels moved to Fort Worth in 1945 and rounded out their family with a daughter, Lynn. Ms. Randels' interests included local, state, and national child advocacy. Betty Randels was instrumental in the construction of a juvenile detention center for Tarrant County, Texas. Prev...
